Join A2J Lab Faculty Director Jim Greiner in California this November

October 22, 2019 by Sandy North

Friends on the West Coast, you have two opportunities to join A2J Lab Faculty Director Jim Greiner this November.

A Conversation with Jim Greiner
Wednesday, Nov. 13
6 – 8 pm

Knobbe Martens
2040 Main St., 14th Floor
Irvine, CA 92614

Co-hosted by the Harvard Law School Association of Orange County and the Harvard Law School Women’s Alliance

Professor Greiner will discuss a series of projects on citation, arrest, bail, diversion, drug courts, and record clearing (sealing and expungement). These projects will provide rigorous evidence on the costs
and benefits of incarceration. MCLE available.

RSVP REQUIRED. Please RSVP to HLSWA.OC@gmail.com.

Generously sponsored by Knobbe Martens

Field Randomized Control Trials Workshop
Thursday, Nov. 14, 12 – 5 pm and Friday, Nov. 15, 8 – 10 am

Those of you interested in attending the A2J Lab’s empirical research methods short course are invited to register for its first session, which will run as part of the 2019 Conference on Empirical Legal Studies. This course is a great option for empirical researchers (and other scholars) who want to understand how RCT field operations can be applied to legal questions.

Registration is required.

Hope to see you there!
